Bluehost is a commonly used host, especially for small online businesses or blogs. I frequently use Bluehost for client and personal projects.
Here are a few of things I have found great about Bluehost:
- easy to set up and use for WordPress
- low start-up and medium ongoing cost
- large, well-known web host
- good customer service + quick response time
- minimal downtime
- a lot of helpful videos about how to use
- a free domain name when you sign up
Bluehost may not be for you if:
- if you have a very large site or very large volume of traffic
This might be the time you need to move over to your own server because you’ve outgrown sharing a server (more expensive, but definitely necessary once you’ve outgrown a shared server).
