The practice of identifying three words to define your coming year is a popular one for very good reason. It really helps you get to the essence of what you want to achieve, and gives you a great way to get back on track should that track become a little hazy along the way!
Now that you’ve thought about what success will mean for you in 2015, and made plans to make this your best year ever, take a minute to think of 3 words that encapsulate those plans, dreams and goals for your year ahead.
These can be for business, relational, health or spiritual goals you are setting out to achieve.
You just need to identify 3 words that will:
- help keep you focussed and working towards your goals for success.
- help you identify the tasks and actions you need to reach the goals you’ve set.
- keep you motivated to keep trying when you feel like giving up.
- give you a swift reminder when you need it most.
Then put them up somewhere where you will be reminded of them, and keep them front of mind when you’re planning and setting yourself up for the year ahead.
Something I’ve done in the past for my 3 words is to build a board on Pinterest for each word and add to it during the year. This was great as an inspiration and enthusiasm boost during the year!
